We are beginning our blog series on our wonderful employees so that you can get to know the people that work so hard to make Front Range Hospice great.
Beginning our new blog series is Thomas J. Hawkins, Ph.D. who is a Chaplain/Counselor at Front Range Hospice. Thomas began at Front Range Hospice in May 2012 when he moved here from Oklahoma specifically for this position. Thomas has two Doctorate Degrees and a background in Christian Counseling, Bereavement, Hospice, local Church Ministry, and Foreign Missions.
Thomas could have chosen a lot of areas to work in with his extensive background however this is what he had to say about why he works at Front Range Hospice. “I chose to work for this great company first because I love hospice and know that I am called to help people through the difficulties that can arise at the end of life. Secondly, I chose Front Range Hospice because of its tireless efforts to maintain and abide by the philosophy to put people, their liberties and their quality of life before anything else. I chose them because they are locally owned and operated but with the sophistication and professionalism of a nationwide corporation. Front Range strives to acquire the very best educated, most experienced staff in each discipline and continue to offer them superior on-going education. The thing I am most impressed with about this company is that every employee is listened to, and every opinion and idea is heard and taken into consideration. I am Proud to be a Front Range Hospice team member!!!”
Personally Thomas loves to be with his wife and kids and his motivation for life lies in them as well as his faith in the Lord. He enjoys being in the Mountains with his kids and loves to travel. He is an amateur linguist and loves a good cup of dark English Tea. We’ll leave you with Thomas favorite quote.
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
