Employee Blog #3: Meet Jessica Mosness

“He has shown you oh man, what is good and what the Lord requires of you, that you seek justice, love mercy and walk humbly with your God.”

Jessica Mosness is a Registered Nurse at Front Range Hospice.  Her background and work experience includes Emergency Room, Labor and Delivery Nurse, Burn Trauma ICU, and now hospice.  Why did she make the transition to Front Range Hospice?  “I became a nurse and worked through nursing school for the long term goal to become a hospice nurse someday…it was my inspiration in becoming a nurse.  I have always loved and been passionate for end of life care as I assisted in taking care of my grandmother and one of my best friends ended up on hospice at the end of her life.  Front Range hospice encompasses everything that is amazing end of life care…we truly do give Legendary End of Life Care and I am so honored to be a part of it all.”

Jessica loves being a mother to her beautiful five year old.  They love to be active by camping, fishing, and volunteering at homeless shelters.  She also loves any medical literature, biographies of nurses and reading in general.

Besides her daughter, Jessica finds motivation and strength in seeing her patients comfortable and seeing how much passion the Front Range Hospice team has for providing amazing care to the patients and their families.  This provides her with the motivation that never ends.
